Every year, the people of Bali honor the Balinese New Year, known as Nyepi. Unlike typical New Year festivities, the Balinese mark the occasion with a series of peaceful and sacred rituals designed to greet the new year with a renewed, refreshed spirit. The island comes to a standstill for 24 hours, as the entire community immerses itself in the tranquility of the day. While Bali rests in serenity, there’s still plenty to enjoy at Dua Dari, a Residence by Hadiprana, during this special time.
